KANSAS CITY – The United Soccer Coaches released their weekly Top 25 rankings for men's soccer and moved the University of Dayton up three spots to No. 19.
The Flyers were previously ranked No. 22, but earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw at No. Kentucky midweek and defeated Atlantic 10 foe VCU 3-1 on Saturday.
This marks the eighth straight week the Flyers have been in the top 25 or receiving votes. They have gotten as high as No. 16, the program's highest ever ranking.
Dayton remains unbeaten on the season with a 9-0-4 record overall and has a 3-0-3 A-10 mark. The Flyers are third in the current conference standings and have two more A-10 games remaining.
This Saturday, Dayton hosts Saint Louis at 7 p.m. for Senior Day. The Flyers will recognize the 11 members of the senior class prior to the game before kicking-off against the Billikens.
