The teams will return on Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest with the finale coming at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+ and will also have radio broadcasts and live stats available for fans to follow along with each contest.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS
The Flyers will enter the series at Tulane with an 8-9 record after dropping three games against Michigan over the weekend. On Thursday against the Wolverines, junior Ryan Steinhauer picked up a quality start for Dayton, going six innings and allowing just one earned run and scattering three hits while striking out three in a 2-1 loss.

Senior Marcos Pujols went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double on Friday, and junior Jose Martinez hit his first home run of the season in an 18-6 loss on Friday, and on Sunday senior Bryce Hellgeth and sophomore Parker bard combined for four scoreless innings in relief, and redshirt freshman Andrew Casey hit a two-run double in a 4-2 defeat.

Hellgeth was also named as one of 30 candidates across Division I for this year's Senior CLASS Award on Tuesday. The award is given to seniors or graduate students that excel both on and off the field. The honor is given to the senior who exemplifies the total student-athlete and will be given during this year's College World Series.

Junior Keagan Calero is hitting .290 with two home runs in 2022 and leads UD with five stolen bases in five attempts, while junior Alex Neff leads Dayton with three home runs.

Steinhauer has been Dayton's most consistent starter on the mound this season, with a 1-1 record and a 2.21 ERA in four starts this season. The lefty also leads the team with 20 strikeouts. Sophomore Eli Majick is tied for the team lead with eight appearances this season and boasts a 1.74 ERA in 10.1 innings on the mound, and graduate student Andrew Zapka has 13 strikeouts in 9.1 innings to go with a 1.93 ERA and one save this season.

Tulane sits at 13-7-1 so far in 2022, with one game against Southeastern Louisiana yet to be played before the weekend series with Dayton. The Green Wave won the first two games against Villanova over the weekend, with Sunday's contest ending in a 3-3 tie. Tulane also split their midweek games against LSU and Nicholls, losing 7-5 to LSU before beating Nicholls 5-3.

The American Athletic Conference Preseason Poll saw the Green Wave picked to finish second with one first place vote behind East Carolina. Tulane also had four picked to the Preseason All-Conference Team in Tyler Hoffman, Bennett Lee, Chase Engelhard, and Luis Aviles.

The team is coached by Travis Jewett in his sixth season at the helm of the Green Wave. Jewett has led Tulane to three-straight seasons finishing above .500, including a 31-24 mark in 2021.
