NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released it's weekly outdoor track and field awards on Tuesday, and Flyer freshman
Kaira Granger was named the conference's Rookie Performer of the Week.

Granger earns this honor for the first time in her UD career, on the heels of her performance at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational over the weekend, where she set a new PR in the 200m race, finishing third overall with a final mark of 24.72 seconds. The Flyers will have the weekend off from competition, but return to action on April 16, as they will travel to Athens, Ohio to compete in the Cherry Blossom Invitational, hosted by the Ohio Bobcats.
