Men's Basketball Announces Non-Conference Television Schedule

UD Will Have Four More Games On Spectrum News 1, Two On Ballys Sports Ohio

DAYTON – The University of Dayton today announced the remainder of the television coverage schedule for its men's basketball games in 2023-24.  Spectrum News 1 in Ohio will broadcast four additional games, while Ballys Sports Ohio will carry two.  

This marks the 18th year of televised Dayton Flyers games on Spectrum.

Spectrum News 1 is scheduled to carry the following games:
•    Oakland – Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. ET 
•    Longwood – Saturday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. ET 
•    George Washington -- Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. ET 
•    Duquesne – Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. ET 

University of Dayton games aired on Spectrum News 1 are available to Spectrum subscribers on channel 1 and via the Spectrum News App for mobile, Xumo Stream Box, Roku, and Apple TV streaming devices.

Ballys Sports Ohio's two games will be:
•    Youngstown State – Friday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. ET
•    Grambling State – Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. ET

The games on Bally Sports Ohio can also be streamed on www.ballysports.com and the Bally Sports app when a consumer authenticates through their pay TV service or subscription to Bally Sports+.

The Bally Sports app is available on mobile and tablet devices, including iOS and Android, as well as the following platforms: Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Samsung TV, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

UD fans outside of the Spectrum News 1 and Ballys Sports Ohio markets will be able to view the games digitally on ESPN+.


In addition, during the non-conference season, the Flyers' game at Northwestern was  on the Big Ten Network.  UD's games at the Shriners Children's Hospitals Charleston Classic were on ESPN2 (LSU and St. John's) and on ESPN (Houston).  When Dayton plays UNLV at UD Arena on Dec. 6, that game will be seen on the CBS Sports Network.  USA Network will carry the Dayton-Troy matchup at the Arena on Dec. 9.  

During the Atlantic 10 schedule, the Flyers will have five games on ESPN2, one more on an ESPN network to be determined (UMass), seven on the CBS Sports Network, one on USA Network, one on MASN (George Mason) and three on ESPN+.

Dayton is 3-2 on the season after losing in the championship game of last week's Charleston Classic to sixth-ranked Houston.  The Flyers host Youngstown State Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
