NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the 10th straight year, the Atlantic 10 Conference will play an 18-game conference men's basketball schedule as the league announced the 2023-24 schedule pairings on Wednesday.

The University of Dayton men's basketball team plays Davidson, Duquesne, Saint Louis and VCU home-and-home, and will also host Fordham, George Washington, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure.  Dayton will visit George Mason, La Salle, Loyola, Richmond and Saint Joseph's.  

Dayton will host three of the A-10's top four finishers from last year – VCU, Saint Louis and Fordham.  UD was the fourth team of that quartet.

The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times as well as national television information will be released later in the year. 

The 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship is scheduled to be played March 13-17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 

Dayton was 22-12 in 2022-23, with second-place finishes in the Atlantic 10 in both the regular season and post-season tournament.  The Flyers return three starters, including junior forward DaRon Holmes II, a two-All-Atlantic 10  pick and the Most Outstanding Player of the 2023 A-10 tournament.
