2024 NCAA Post-Season Ticket Requests Now Available

Limited Number Of Tickets Will Be Allocated On A Priority Basis

DAYTON – The University of Dayton Division of Athletics is forming a request list for season ticket holders and eligible Champions & Scholars Fund members who wish to secure tickets to follow the Flyers' men's basketball team in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, should the team clinch an automatic berth or receive an at-large bid.

While the Flyers have their sights solely focused on the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship, the team's performance this season has happily created the need for this communication.
Due to logistical complications created by hosting the First Four and the unprecedented demand for previous seasons' NCAA tournament games, UD is releasing advance ticketing information should Dayton earn an NCAA berth.

If we are fortunate enough to earn a bid, we will have an extremely limited allotment of tickets at each site. Requests will be prioritized by a combination of lifetime giving to University of Dayton Athletics and the number of years and level as a season ticket holder.

The vast majority of Champions & Scholars Fund members and season ticket holders are unlikely to secure any tickets to Brooklyn, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Omaha, Pittsburgh or Memphis through the University, unless they have personally made very significant philanthropic gifts to Athletics beyond their seating contributions.

The dramatic increase in fundraising the last few years, mostly related to major gifts to the UD Arena transformation and other projects, has significantly influenced giving levels for most fans. Given this shift, some fans who received post-season tickets previously through UD will likely need to access the secondary market, as the fundraising scales have changed since our last NCAA appearance.

Fans interested in attending these sites are encouraged to purchase through the venue directly or at verified sites such as https://www.ncaa.com/tickets/basketball-men/d1.

"We want Flyer fans to do what they have done all season and take over whatever facility UD is playing in," said Dan Preuett, Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing & Partnerships.  "We want to be transparent that the best option for our fans is to acquire tickets outside of UD, which will lead to a much greater chance of securing seats."

Ticketmaster is the NCAA's official ticketing platform for ticket purchases and resale. It is the most direct and reliable source of tournament tickets for fans. All other ticket resale companies should be heavily scrutinized prior to purchasing since they do not have the same ticket seller guarantee as Ticketmaster.

Fans without a substantial philanthropic giving history have a greater likelihood of securing tickets from UD if we are in Salt Lake City or Spokane.  For all other sites, we recommend fans make their own arrangement for tickets.

Tournament site ticket requests will be accepted online beginning today until 10 a.m. ET on Friday, March 15, 2024. If you submitted a request to purchase tickets to follow the Flyers in the 2024 NCAA Tournament and your order is accepted, you will receive notification of ticket request fulfillment prior to noon on Monday, March 18. If you do not receive notification that your order was accepted by such time, we regret your ticket request could not be filled.

If users have any questions about their account, please contact the University of Dayton Ticket Office at flyertickets@udayton.edu or (937) 229-4433. The UD Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
