DAYTON – University of Dayton volleyball head coach Tim Horsmon has announced the complete 2024 schedule, a 30-match slate that kicks off with the Flyer Invitational Aug. 30-31 at Frericks Center. The schedule features matches against five 2023 NCAA Tournament participants and the return of the Atlantic 10 Championship to Frericks Center.

UD will play host to Florida International, Northern Iowa and Ohio State during the first weekend of the year, with a total of six matches scheduled to be played in Dayton. On the second weekend of the season, Dayton will travel across town to take part in Wright State's annual tournament. In addition to the host Raiders, UD will square off against Bowling Green and UMBC at McLin Gym in Fairborn Sept. 6-8.

The Flyers will be in Bowling Green, Ky., Sept. 13 & 14 for three matches at Western Kentucky's Hyatt Place Invitational. Dayton will match up against Illinois, WKU and Marquette. To close out non-conference play, UD will head to the sunshine state for a two-day outing at Florida Gulf Coast. Dayton will play South Florida twice in addition to a single match against host FGCU.

Atlantic 10 Conference action will kick off Sept. 27 & 28 with games against Rhode Island at Frericks Center. The Flyers will open October on the road taking on VCU Oct. 4-5 followed by a single-game match at Duquesne on Oct. 8. Loyola Chicago and George Washington will come to Dayton for two matches apiece Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19 as the Flyers enjoy two weeks at home. A trip to Bronx, N.Y., will be next as Dayton takes on Fordham Oct. 25-26. Dayton will then host Duquesne for a single game Oct. 29 to close out the pair's home-and-away series.

November will have Dayton traveling to George Mason Nov. 2-3 and Saint Louis Nov. 15-16 with two home games against Davidson in between.

Dayton has been selected to host the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship Nov. 22-24. The six-team field will compete for the league's tournament title and automatic berth into the NCAA Championship on the Flyers' home court in Frericks Center.
