Liana Sarkissian have been named the
Ohio's CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held Sept. 9-15.
Lampron, a native of LaGrange, Ohio, was named the Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in two games. The Flyer linebacker had 13 tackles (seven solo) and 2.5 TFL. Lampron leads the PFL in TFL (2.8 per game) and is tied for second in FCS football.
Hailing from Greenwich, Conn., Sarkissian was named the A-10 Player of the Week after averaging 3.36 kills per set while hitting .408 and adding four service aces and a 1.09 blocks per set mark in Dayton's three matches this past weekend. The middle blocker had 37 total kills, with a season-high 14 against Marquette, to go along with a career-best five digs against host Western Kentucky. The junior averaged 4.36 points per set. Sarkissian was named to the WKU Hyatt Place Invitational All-Tournament Team.
