ST. LOUIS - The Pioneer Football League announced its weekly awards for week four and recognized University of Dayton kicker
Robby Smart as the Special Teams Player of the Week.Â
The redshirt junior kicked the game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter this Saturday in the 17-14 come-from-behind win on the road at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pa.
This is the first honor for Smart, who converted from 21-yards in the effort and helped the Flyers move to 2-1 on the season. He joins teammate
Vincent Firenze who was named PFL Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 7.
Smart and the rest of the team return home this Saturday to host Stetson for Family Weekend.Â
