WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Atlantic 10 Conference recognized University of Dayton junior Jadyn Haywood as Co-Performer of the Week after her impressive showing on Saturday, at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan, hosted by the University of Michigan.

Haywood recorded the fastest time in both the 60m and 200m this season in the Atlantic 10. Up against a strong field, the junior ran 7.53 in the 60m to finish second and placed third in the 200m running 24.81. 

The Dayton, Ohio native is off to a fast start this year after she grabbed multiple medals last season. In February, at the A-10 Indoor Championships she was runner-up with a personal best in the 200m (24.35) and she finished third in the 60m (7.51). She followed that performance up with two runner-up results in the 100m and 200m at the A-10 Outdoor Championships. In May, it was another PR in the 200m (24.03) and she recorded a personal best in the 100m running 11.75.

The Flyers return to action this week at the Indiana Invitational, hosted by Indiana University. The meet is a two day event that will begin on Friday, January 17, and end on Saturday, January 18.
