DAYTON - University of Dayton track and field will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana this weekend as they compete in the Gibson Invitational, hosted by Indiana State University. The three day meet will run Thursday through Saturday.
 
START TIME
Thursday: Action starts with the heptathlon 100m hurdles at 10 a.m.
Friday: The heptathlon will resume with the long jump at 10 a.m. The hammer throw starts action in the field at noon. Running events get underway at 6 p.m. with the 3,000m steeplechase.
Saturday: Field events start at 11:30 a.m. with the long jump. Running events begin at noon with the 100m hurdles.

FLYERS IN ACTION
Four athletes, Raegan Ernst, Mia Malito, Sophia Goluba and Evelyn Albers will represent UD in the pentathlon.
 
Olivia Kindbom will compete in both the 3,000m steeplechase and 5,000m on Friday. She will be joined by Ashley Alsko in the steeplechase and Grace Heitkamp, Bailey Gross, and Abigail Jordan in the 5k. Alsko and Jordan will also compete in Saturday's 1,500m.
 
In the sprint events, Jameson Pillifant will toe the line in both the 100m hurdles and the 400m hurdles. Mariya Washington, Sydney Workman, and Lianna Shakoor will all compete in the 400m. The 100m will feature Jadyn Haywood alongside the freshman quartet of Simone Bessong, Chloe Hamilton, Gianna Lane, and Autumn Price. Haywood, Bessong, and Hamilton will also compete in the 200m where they will be joined by Charlotte Deines.
 
In the field, Elaina Panagakos and Maggie Hofner will represent the Flyers in the open division of the hammer throw on Friday. Rebekah Conrad will compete in the invitational division. On Saturday, Conrad, Hofner and Chloe Hansen will step into the circle for the discus throw. Panagkos, Conrad and Anna Yater will compete in the shot put. Three Flyers, Lane, Deines, and Price will go in the long jump while Jailee Clemmons is scheduled to compete in the triple jump, the first Flyer to compete in that event this season. The duo of Camryn Thompson and Riley Yost will compete in the high jump.
