Jadyn Haywood have been named the Ohio's CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held Feb. 3-9.
Zinder continued his dominant start to the 2025 season, extending his winning streak to eight matches in singles play while also excelling in doubles. The Richboro, Pa., native went 3-0 over the weekend, securing a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 against Cleveland State, a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Duquesne, and a commanding 6-0, 6-4 triumph at No. 1 against Saint Francis. Eric Suk went undefeated, winning 6-3 against Cleveland State and 6-2 against Duquesne at No. 2 before securing a thrilling 7-6(5) victory at No. 1 against Saint Francis. He was named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday.
Haywood won both the 60 meter and 200 meter dash on Saturday at the Gem City Invitational hosted by UD on the campus of Wittenberg University. Haywood, who is a Dayton native, recorded a personal best 7.47 and cruised to her third win of the season in the 60m dash. The junior has held the best time in 60m all season in the conference and 7.47 also marked the second fastest time in program history. It was Haywood's first win in the 200m this season and grabbed the top spot running 24.57. She was named the A-10 Track Co-Performer of the Week on Monday as well.
