Men's Soccer Earns Multiple All-Ohio Honors

Dayton Had Five Student-Athletes Recognized Academically And Athletically

DAYTON – The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association announced their All-Ohio teams and All-Academic teams for the fall soccer season.

The University of Dayton men's soccer program had a pair of student-athletes named to the All-Academic team while having four players earn All-Ohio team accolades.

Graduate student Hjalti Sigurdsson and senior Paul Yeboah received academic honors for achieving above a 3.5 GPA and majoring in engineering management and sports management respectively.

Sigurdsson joined teammates Joseph Melto Quiah and Martin Bakken as First Team All-Ohio recipients, with the three Flyers combining for 25 goals as Dayton's top three scorers in 2024.

Sophomore Miles Bonham earned Second Team All-Ohio honors as well after starting all 20 games this past fall.

As a team, Dayton had a historic season with a 14-3-3 record overall, its second-straight A-10 Championship, and advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time in program history.
