LUJO WINS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK AGAIN
- For the fourth time this season, freshman
Rylan Lujo has been named the conference Rookie of the Week by the Atlantic 10 conference, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
- Lujo continued his torrid stretch to start the 2025 campaign, hitting .500 with a 1.468 OPS in Dayton's 3-1 week of action. Lujo finished the week with a pair of doubles, a home run, six RBI and five runs scored to go along with four walks and a stolen base.
- After starting the week with one hit in each game, Lujo went 3-for-5 and 2-for-2 in the Flyers' last two games against George Washington. The Coconut Creek, Fla. native slugged a grand slam in UD's finale against the Revolutionaries to help complete the sweep.

- Sunday's win pushed UD to 20-18 on the season and 10-5 in A-10 play, and also gave Flyers first-year head coachÂ
Scott Loiseau his 500th career victory.
- Loiseau racked up 480 wins at NCAA Division II Southern New Hampshire, leading the Penmen to five NCAA Division II World Series.

- The FlyBoys made it two consecutive Atlantic 10 sweeps this weekend, taking down George Washington by scores of 6-1, 22-10 and 9-8 at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium.

- MacDougall's first came at Vanderbilt, then the catcher slugged two more in the FlyBoys series sweep of George Washington.

Mason Dobie continues to show an elite eye at the plate this season, walking six times last week to bring his season total to an Atlantic 10-leading 36.
- The senior has now surpassed his career high for walks in a single season after having 33 as a junior.

Chris Peguero was lights out for the Flyers against George Washington on Friday night, shutting down the Revolutionaries to the tune of one run on five hits in eight innings of work. Â
- The Boston, Mass. native struck out six and set the tone for the rest of the weekend, as Dayton went on to sweep GW for its second consecutive Atlantic 10 sweep.

- Dayton head to The Ocean State to take on Rhode Island for a three-game series beginning Friday at 3 p.m. The Flyers and Rams are two of the top teams in the Atlantic 10, both going into the weekend series with records of 10-5.
