DAYTON – University of Dayton men's soccer head coach
Dennis Currier will have 12 new players available to help the Flyers for the 2025 season.
Dayton, who finished the 2024 season ranked 12th nationally, is looking to build off the program's historic season that included an appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
"Our staff worked extremely hard to put together a top-25 recruiting class," said Currier. "Our graduated seniors from this past year left some big holes to fill. This incoming class is loaded with talent and we are excited to see what they can accomplish on and off the field."
Edgar Bazan – Midfielder – Overland Park, Kan. – Temple
Bazan spent the 2024 season at Temple, earning AAC All-Freshman Team accolades after seeing action in 16 matches with the Owls. He helped lead Olathe East High School to a 2023 state title and was featured with Sporting KC II, earning MLS NEXT All-Star recognition in 2022. Bazan was named to the US U-17 Men's National Team roster in January 2022.
Haukur Brink – Forward – Reykjavík, Iceland – Fjölbrautaskólinn í Garðabæ
Brink helped lead his Stjarnan U19 squad to the 2023 Icelandic Championship after setting a program single-season record for goals scored (11). In 2024, the winger competed in the European Conference League with Stjarnan, seeing action in games in Belfast, Estonia and Iceland.
Cayden Crawford – Goalkeeper – Plain City, Ohio – Ohio Connections Academy
Crawford joined the team ahead of the spring 2025 semester and will see his first collegiate action on the pitch this fall. He was signed to the Indy Eleven of the USL Championship for three-consecutive seasons and made the match-day squad a total of 14 times.
Dren Dobruna – Defender – Waterbury, Conn. – Siena
Dobruna started in all 16 matches he played at Siena during his freshman season and led the team with 10 assists and 14 points. He was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year and to the All-MAAC First Team for his efforts during the 2024 season. Drobruna for the Hartford Athletic of the USL Championship and also competed with the Albanian U19 National Team at Euro Qualifiers.
Alex Dorko – Midfielder – Cincinnati, Ohio – Anderson
A two-time team captain at Anderson High School, Dorko helped lead the Raptors to three-consecutive Eastern Cincinnati Conference titles. The three-time All-ECC First Teamer was named the D2 Southwest Ohio Player of the Year following his senior season and was also selected to the 2024 All-American game.
Kristjan Frostason – Defender – Kopavogurm, Iceland – Menntataskólinn í Kópavogi
Frostason saw action in 19 games during the 2024 season with HK Kópavogs, putting in a total of 1,413 minutes of work on defense. He also competed with the Icelandic Youth National Team on its U17 and U19 squads.
Cayne Madhlangove – Defender – Flower Mound, Texas – Salt Lake Academy (Utah)
Madhlangove played two varsity seasons at Lone Star High School before finishing his prep career at Salt Lake Academy. The defender was a member of Real Salt Lake's squad, featured with Real Monarchs of the MLS NEXT Pro league and was mentioned on TopDrawerSoccer.com's 2025 MLS NEXT Flex U19 Players to Watch.
Mikkel Madsen – Defender – Kalundborg, Denmark – Marie Kruses Gymnasium
Madsen won two cups at the youth level with FC Nordsjaelland and had four games with the Danish U18 National Team. Most recently, the defender was a member of Frederiksberg Alliancen (FA) 2000 during the 2024-25 season.
Jonathan Moumboko – Defender – Grez-sur-Loing, France – Woodstock Academy (Conn.)
Moumboko came to Woodstock Academy as a post-graduate ahead of the 2024 season and helped lead the Centaurs to a 14-1-2 record and the program's second-straight National Prep Soccer championship title. He played club three club seasons with AJ Auxerre on its U17 and U19 squads.
Jonathan Munteanu – Goalkeeper – Columbia, S.C. – UAB
Munteanu brings two years of collegiate experience with him to Dayton and he started all 15 games last season at UAB, working a total of 1,350 minutes in goal for the Blazers. While in high school, he signed a two-year contract with MLS NEXT Pro team Houston Dynamo 2 and he recently joined SC United Bantams of the USL League Two.
Farouq Ogundare – Midfielder – Ogun, Nigeria – Beyond Limits Academy
Following the 2023-24 season with Beyond Limits Academy, Ogundare was named the team's Player of the Season. The dynamic midfielder was featured with Nigeria's U20 National Team.
Maxim Scordo – Forward – Denver, Colo. – Colorado Connections Academy
As a member of Strikers FC, Scordo was named the MLS NEXT 2022-23 U16 MVP after scoring 52 goals in 32 starts. Over the past two MLS NEXT seasons, he has been a member of the Colorado Rapids Academy's U17 and U18 squads, leading the team in scoring both seasons. Scordo also earned mentioned on TopDrawerSoccer.com's 2025 MLS NEXT Flex U19 Players to Watch.
