WASHINGTON - University of Dayton softball senior Izzy Kemp has been named the Atlantic 10's Under Armour Pitcher of the Week following the first weekend of action of the 2026 season.

George Mason senior Tess Altevers Harris was named the Softball Player of the Week while Patriots freshman Payton Auerbach earned Rookie of the Week honors. The league announced the awards on Tuesday for games played from Feb. 5 to Feb. 8.

Kemp worked a total of 11.1 innings over three appearances, recording one win, one combined shutout, and one save. The right-handed-pitcher from Westfield, Ind. allowed just two runs total, both in a six-inning start against Western Michigan. Kemp allowed just one hit in four innings of action at Presbyterian while recording 10 strikeouts, racking up 23 strikeouts across the weekend.

UP NEXT
Dayton will continue its pre-conference tour of the southeast next weekend as it travels to Elon, N.C., to take part in Elon's Phoenix Invitational Feb. 13-15. UD will play a total of five games against Manhattan, Mount St. Mary's and host Elon at Hunt Softball Park.
