DAYTON'S ABIDOR NAMED ALL-AMERICA BY JEWISH SPORTS REVIEW

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Jewish Sports Review announced their 2012 Division I Men's Soccer All-America team and honored the University of Dayton's David Abidor as a first team performer.

Abidor is a sophomore from Northbrook, Ill. and started all 18 games for the Flyers.  In his second season at Dayton, the 6'1" midfielder/defender totaled three assists and 13 shots hits in 1,572 minutes of action. Abidor also had a .385 shots-on-goal percentage this past year.  In 2011, Abidor was an Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Rookie Team honoree.

The Flyers went 11-5-2 on the season thanks to the help of Abidor as Dayton advanced to the A-10 Tournament in Charlotte.
