University of Dayton junior shot putter Kelly Pohlman will be the lone Flyer at the NCAA Division I Mideast Regional Meet that will be held at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex at the University of Indiana in Bloomington this weekend.

Pohlman has won the last two Atlantic 10 shot put titles. At this year's Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Pohlman placed first in the shot put, second in the discus and third in the hammer throw. She qualified in the shot for the regional meet.

Pohlman was also recently named to the A-10 All-Academic Track and Field team.

New Flyer head coach Kandice Erwin will also be seeing some NCAA action. Erwin will be in Waverly, Iowa for the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet with six of the student-athletes she coached at Texas Lutheran before taking the Dayton job. TLU's 4x100 relay team is ranked #1 in Division III.
