Head Coach Brian Gregory
"Our practices have been great and one of the reasons is because our guard play is so competitive. It's good to see him (Rob Lowery) play. It's a big transition from junior college to this level. There's stuff he needs to work on but I'm pleased with his performance today."
"It's hard in the red and blue game because every positive also equals a negative on the other end. I just sit back and watch. We really study the film and use this as a teaching tool for our guys over the next couple of weeks. We show them where we need to improve and emphasize things we're doing well. We use it on an individual basis also. Overall, very pleased with today, it was great effort. I think we could pressure the ball a little better."
"He's a very good shooter (Mickey Perry). If there's anyone that deserves to be successful, it's him. He spends as much time, if not more time, than anyone in the program on shooting. There are other areas of his game he needs to work on, but he's in the process of doing that."

"We have a lot of depth. We have Marcus (Johnson) who is really athletic and talented freshmen. We're really competitive in practice and we get after it."
"I thought we played hard today. There were some defensive lapses. The new guys were trying to adjust to each other in game situation. I thought we played good offensively. We need to work on defense and talk more."
"I just went out there and played. I was able to get in a rhythm and get some shots knocked down...show other parts of my game."
