DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton track and field team will send 16 student-athletes to the RedHawk Invitational this weekend in Oxford, Ohio. Saturday’s one-day meet will be the final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships in Amherst, Mass. next weekend on May 5-6.
The meet will open at 11 a.m. with the hammer throw. Dayton will be competing in a limited number of events, and will wrap up the day at 2 p.m. with the javelin throw.
Dayton finished fourth at the All-Ohio Championships, placing ahead of Ohio State and 10 other track programs on Saturday.
With two weeks remaining until the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Flyers turned in solid performances across the board in the meet. More than 10 personal records were set during the meet.
Results from the RedHawk Invitational will be available following the conclusion of the meet.
