FLYER TRACK SET FOR GLADSTEIN INVITATIONAL

The University of Dayton track program travels to Bloomington, Ind. this weekend for the Gladstein Invitational hosted by Indiana University. The meet will begin on Friday Jan. 18 with the pentathlon at 12:00 p.m. Women’s action will conclude at approximately 8:40 p.m. with the 5,000m run and pick up again Saturday Jan. 19 at 10:00 a.m. 
 
In their latest outing the Flyers finished third at the Bowling Green Opener. The field events performed well as they accrued 50 of Dayton’s 80 points. 
 
Heading into this weekend Hanna Krizmanic leads a strong pole vault crew. She is tied for 28th in the nation with her height of 3.85m and has the highest mark in the Atlantic 10 this season. Katrina Steinhauser has the second best mark in the A10 (3.70m) and is fresh off a victory at the Bowling Green Opener.
 
Ashley DeMange and Sarah Gaskell have the fourth and fifth best heights in the conference with jumps of 3.55m and 3.50m. 
 
In the 800m run, Lizzie Gleason and Nicole Cargill hold the top two spots in the conference currently with times of 2:15.67 and 2:15.72, both from the Bowling Green Opener.
