NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced their first women's track awards of the new year and recognized University of Dayton senior Aly Weeman as Co-Performer of the Week.

Weeman finished fourth overall in the weight throw with a distance of 18.34m, earning her team valuable points at the Ohio State Buckeye Invitational this past Friday. The senior from Wooster, Ohio posted the top in the Atlantic 10 over the weekend, beating out the closest non-Flyer by 3.50m. Weeman will be looking to defend her 2014 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship in the weight throw and got off to a strong start to the 2015 campaign, posting the 30^th-best mark in the country thus far.

This is the first honor for Weeman and the Flyers this season. Joining Weeman as Co-Performer of the Week was Fordham's Titi Fagade.

Dayton will next compete at the Kentucky Invite this Friday and Saturday in Lexington, Ky.
