DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team will travel to Huntington, West Virginia this weekend to compete in the Thundering Herd Open.
Marshall University will hold the event at Jeff Small Track in the Chris Cline Athletics Complex on campus.
"This is an important weekend for us as we will be competing everyone in the events we expect them to compete in at the A10 Indoor Championships," said Head Coach
Jason Francis. We are excited to take advantage of Marshall's brand new facility and the great competition this weekend."
The Flyers are coming off a strong showing at the Tom Wright Open including a fourth-place finish as a team and 11 personal bests. Freshman
Leah Frischmann highlighted the event with a first-place finish in the pole vault, earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors. Dayton will be looking to carry that momentum over into this weekend.
