OPENING NIGHT INFORMATION FOR FRIDAY'S GAME




DAYTON, Ohio – More than 13,000 tickets have been sold for the Dayton Flyers' home opener against the Austin Peay Governors on Friday, Nov. 11.

A limited number of tickets are on sale. Fans wishing to purchase season tickets can do so by calling (937) 229-4433, visiting the University of Dayton ProSource Ticket Office or online at DaytonFlyers.com.

The UD ProSource Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.

A tribute to the late UD center, Steve McElvene, who died May 12 at 20 at his family's home in Fort Wayne, Ind., of an enlarged heart, will begin about 15 minutes before tip-off at 6:50 p.m. ET. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

PROMOTIONS
Friday's game is Military Appreciation Night. UD is welcoming guests of the Wounded Warriors Project to the game.

Fans will also be able to pick up free team posters and schedule cards. UD Irish Dance will perform at halftime.

If the Flyers win, you win. ALL Flyers fans will receive a FREE Slider at Arby's after a Dayton Flyers men's or women's basketball win at home. No purchase necessary. Flyers fans can Print or download their coupon on daytonflyers.com/arbys and redeem at any participating Dayton area Arby's location. Offer is valid two (2) days after each home win.

PARKING INFORMATION
Fans are encouraged to carpool and arrive early to alleviate traffic and parking congestion. All parking at the arena (parking lots A, B, C & D) are reserved parking with a valid parking pass and are sold out.

Fans who do not have a pass to park in the Arena lots will be able to park at the overflow lot between the Dayton Marriott and WHIO in the University's auxiliary parking lot - Lot O. Signs from the Stewart St. bridge are displayed to direct fans to the overflow lots.

There will be a $5 charge per car and a shuttle bus will transport you to and from the Arena.

Complimentary shuttle service to the Arena will begin at 6 p.m. ET and run for one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.

Parking at the Dayton Marriott, in the Carillon neighborhood, adjacent to the Arena or at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel is prohibited.

ABOUT THE FLYERS
Dayton finished the 2015-16 regular season co-champions in the Atlantic 10, with a 14-4 conference record. UD was 25-8 overall, and reached the NCAA tournament for the third consecutive season. The Flyers' 78 wins over the last three seasons match the best three-year record in school history.
