DAYTON WOMEN’S TRACK AND FIELD OPENS BEYNON CLASSIC

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The University of Dayton women's track and field team started off the Beynon Catamount Classic on Friday in North Carolina.

TOP 5 ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES
  • Sonya Napariu set the fourth-best hammer throw mark in school history with a distance of 53.18m while winning the event at the Benyon Classic.

PERSONAL BESTS
  • There were seven personal bests on Friday: Sepanski (100m hurdles, shot put), Butler (high jump, shot put), Napariu (hammer), Steinbicker (10,000m), and Harla (high jump).
