DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team will travel to the Illinois Twilight this Saturday, April 23.
The Flyers will head to Champaign, Ill. to compete at the Illinois Track Stadium on the campus of the University of Illinois.
It will be a one-day meet with throws events beginning at 12 p.m. jumps events beginning at 4 p.m. and running events starting at 5 p.m.
The Flyers enter the weekend coming off a third-place finish at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic in North Carolina.
Sarah Sepanski highlighted the weekend with a new school record in the heptathlon while Flyers finished 1-2-3 in the steeplechase. Dayton had strong performances from
Sonya Napariu (won the hammer throw) and
Jordan Hoffman (2
nd-best 100m hurdles time at UD) as well. The Flyers hope to carry that success over into this weekend's meet in Illinois.
