SCHOOL RECORD HIGHLIGHTS ILLINOIS TWILIGHT

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team finished fourth overall at the Illinois Twilight with a number of strong performances.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEET

The Flyers were led by the 4x100m relay team which set a new school record and finished fourth overall. The steeplechase was another noteworthy event with Grace McDonald and Olivia Albers finishing first and second respectively.

COACH'S QUOTE

"The women should be very proud of how they competed," said head coach Sarah Haveman. "It was a great meet to propel us into the conference meet."

TOP 5 ALL-TIME PERFORMANCES

The 4x100m relay team set a new school record with a time of 46.61, beating a three-year old mark.
Grace McDonald recorded the fifth-best 3000m steeplechase time in school history, finishing first in the event.

There were eight personal bests on Saturday: McDonald (steeplechase), Fisher (steeplechase), Triskett (steeplechase), 4x100m team, Rossi (discus), Ramstetter (hammer) Sepanski (100m),and Pryslak (800m).
