DAYTON – The University of Dayton track and field team will compete at the two-day, annual Kentucky Invitational this Friday, Jan. 13 and Saturday, Jan. 14. The meet will be held at UK's Nutter Field House.
Admission is free and free parking is available in the green lot in front of the Nutter Field House.
The Flyers will be competing against the host Wildcats, nationally-ranked No. 8 in the preseason USTFCCCA poll. In addition to Kentucky, Dayton will compete against Akron, Arkansas State, Asbury, Ball State, Bellarmine, Berea, Cincinnati, Cumberland (Tenn.), Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Indiana Tech, James Madison, Kentucky State, Louisville, Marshall, Ohio State, Spalding, Tennessee State, Washington & Jefferson and Xavier.
The women's weight throw will start off the Kentucky Invitational at 4 p.m. Friday. The distance medley relay will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
The women's high jump will be the first event Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. Running events will start at 12 p.m. Saturday, kicking off with the women's 60m hurdles.
Dayton is coming off a solid outing at the Buckeye Classic on Jan. 6 in which 11 PRs were set by the Flyers, including a UD all-time, top five mark by
Erin Reese in the weight throw.

Grace McDonald – 5th in the mile
