DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team will play host to Saint Louis Friday night for its annual Breast Cancer Awareness match. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at Frericks Center, admission is free and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

About Dayton
Dayton (14-6, 5-0 A-10) heads into Friday's match against Saint Louis enjoying a six-match winning streak after downing intra-state rival Xavier, 3-0, on Tuesday. The Flyers picked up two weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 on Monday including senior Amber Erhahon as Defensive Player of the Week and freshman Bridget Doherty as Rookie of the Week. UD is led by junior Lauren Bruns with 3.62 kills/set (1st A-10) and Erhahon who hits at .420 (1st A-10) while recording 1.19 blocks/set (4th A-10). Junior Margo Wolf is the team's leading passer with 4.87 digs/set (1st A-10).

Scouting Saint Louis
After dropping its opening A-10 match 3-0 to Dayton, Saint Louis (7-11, 4-1 A-10) has now won four-consecutive league games. SLU's Lauren Leverenz, the current A-10 Co-Player of the Week, has the team's best hitting percentage (.335, 5th A-10) while Sien Gallop leads the league with 0.68 aces/set. Maya Taylor averages a team-best 3.39 kill/set (5th A-10).

Series Stuff
Over the 49 all-time meetings between Dayton and Saint Louis, the Flyers have come out on top 33 times including a 3-0 win over the Billikens on Sept. 22. UD has won 10-consecutive and 18 of the last 19 meetings between the two teams.

In the most recent release of the NCAA Rating Percentage Index (RPI) of 2017 posted Monday, Oct. 9, Dayton came in at 61 according to NCAA.com. Saint Louis was ranked 156.

His record at Dayton is 229-63 and his career win-loss mark sits at 405-227 in 19 seasons as a head coach. Horsmon is the program's second-winningest coach behind only R. Senior Jessica Sloan led all attackers with a match-high 15 kills in the Flyers' 3-0 sweep of the Musketeers. Junior Margo Wolf got under a match-high 20 digs while junior Lauren Bruns also had double-digit kills with 12. As a team, UD recorded 44 kills to XU's 31.
