DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Flyers announced a sellout of the regular season finale against the VCU Rams on Wednesday, March 1. Tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.
In the event of sold out games, fans are encouraged to use TicketMaster Verified Tickets for resale options. UD season ticket holders can post their tickets for sale when they can't make it to a game. Dayton will break the single-season average attendance record which was set the first year the building opened in 1969-70. The previous record was 12,982 fans per game.
PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION
The regular season finale is Senior Night. UD will honor the Class of 2017 (
Kyle Davis,
Scoochie Smith,
Kendall Pollard,
Charles Cooke and
Jeremiah Bonsu) in a pregame ceremony. The on court program begins at 7:45 p.m.
Dayton will also honor the 50th anniversary of the 1966-67 team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament Championship game at the under 12 minute media timeout in the first half.
Red Panda makes her return to UD Arena and will perform at halftime. Red Panda has been performing for 33 years and has done her act in over 30 countries around the world.
PARKING INFORMATION
Fans are encouraged to carpool and arrive early to alleviate traffic and parking congestion. All parking at the arena (parking lots A, B, C & D) is reserved parking with a valid parking pass and are sold out.
Fans that do not have a pass to park in the Arena lots will be able to park at the overflow lot between the Dayton Marriott and WHIO in the University's auxiliary parking lot - Lot O. Signs from the Stewart Street bridge are displayed to direct fans to the overflow lots.
There will be a $5 charge per car and a shuttle bus will transport you to and from the Arena.
Complimentary shuttle service to the Arena will begin at 6:45 p.m. ET and run for one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.
Parking at the Dayton Marriott, in the Carillon neighborhood adjacent to the Arena or at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel is prohibited.
GAME INFORMATION
Wednesday's contest features the top two teams in the Atlantic 10 standings. Dayton enters the game 14-2 in league play and can win the regular season title outright with a win on Wednesday. VCU enters the contest 23-6 overall and one game back for the Flyers in the A-10 standings at 13-3.
