ERIN REESE BREAKS ANOTHER RECORD AT ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIP

Reese Broke UD's All-Time Hammer Throw Record

CINCINNATI  – The University of Dayton women's track and field team had a solid first day at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by University of Cincinnati.

Highlights
•    Erin Reese broke UD's all-time record in the hammer throw, previously held by two-time All-American Mallory Barnes. Reese's mark of 60.05 is the best in the Atlantic 10 this season. Reese also holds the Dayton record in the discus.
•    Leah Frischmann took third place in the pole vault with a season-best mark of 3.75m, which is also the best mark so far in the A-10 this season.
•    Sarah Sepanski took first place in the shot put and 200-meter dash, as well as second in the 100-meter hurdles and is currently in fourth place in the heptathlon with three more events to complete (long jump, javelin, 800-meter run).

Head Coach Sarah Haveman's Quotes
