DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's track and field squad will compete at the Findlay Classic & Elite Throws this Friday and Saturday hosted inside the Malcolm Athletic Center, which is located inside the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.

This is Dayton's fourth indoor meet of the 2018 season.

"The Findlay Classic will be a good opportunity for our team to compete against some great competition," said head coach Jason Ordway. "While this meet highlights the throwing events, our other squads will have the chance to sharpen up a bit and get a shot at some events they haven't competed in yet. It should be a nice opportunity to get a better idea of where we're at during this point in the season."

The women's pentathlon will be held Friday starting at 12:10 p.m. ET. The women's pole vault will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday's events start with the women's weight throw at 9 a.m. The first running event for the women will be the 60-meter dash prelims at 12:40 p.m.
