DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's track and field team will be competing at the prestigious Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State this Friday and Saturday, April 20-21 at the Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
The Flyers will start the competition off Friday with the hammer throw and javelin throw at 2 p.m. Friday.
Dayton will also have competitors in the 5000m races at 6:30 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. and close out the evening with the 1500m at 7:50 p.m.
Saturday, Dayton kicks off the classic with the shot put at 10:30 a.m. The Flyers will also have competitors in the high jump at 11 a.m., following the men's high jump.
Action continues with the 4x100 relay at 12 p.m., the pole vault at 1 p.m., the discus and 100m dash at 2 p.m., the 800m run at 2:25 p.m. and the 3000m Steeplechase at 4:05 p.m.
