Emily Borchers Breaks 5000M Run Record At SPIRE Invitational

Emily Borchers Ran The 5000m In School-Record 16:39.17 And Took First Place

GENEVA, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team closed out its regular season at the SPIRE Invitational, the Flyers' final tune up before the 2019 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Highlights
  • Senior Emily Borchers broke the 5000m school record in a time of 16:39.17 and also took first place in the race.
  • The Flyers had 24 PRs at the meet.
