FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Dayton women's track and field team is currently in third place after day one of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fairfax, Va. The Flyers have 28 points for third place, while VCU is second with 33 points and host George Mason leads with 49.5 points.

Highlights

• Taylor Flight had a PR and took silver in the weight throw.
• Emily Borchers also made the podium with her third-place finish in the 5,000-meter run.
• Corey Rinella finished fifth in the pentathlon with the help of five PRs, including her 3,376 points, which is fifth-best all-time at UD.
