DAYTON ā The University of Dayton women's cross country team will be competing at the University of Notre Dame's National Catholic Invitational this Friday, Sept. 20.
The 5,000 meter race will begin at 4:15 p.m. at Notre Dame's Burke Golf Course.Ā
At last year's National Catholic Invitational, the Flyers took second place over Atlantic 10 opponent Saint Louis with a score of 83.
This year's field includes: Ave Maria University, Benedictine University, Brescia University, Canisius College, Creighton, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Franciscan University, College of the Holy Cross, Loras College, Lourdes, Marian University, Notre Dame, Ohio Dominican, St. Mary's University, College of Saint Benedict, University of St. Francis, Saint Mary's College (Ind.), Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, St. Norbert College, St. Xavier University, Thomas More College, Walsh.

Emily Sreenan are UD returners who ran in last year's National Catholic Invitational and will again this year.
Already this season, Dayton took second place at the 2019 Queen City Invitational and seventh place at the Friendship Invitational.
