DAYTON – The University of Dayton track and field team, in conjuction with the director of track & field
Jason Ordway, announced the signing of throws and javelin athlete Daniela Peralta on Thursday.

"Daniela is a fantastic addition for our throws program, further strengthening our javelin group," commented Ordway Thursday. "She is a phenomenal competitor and approaches training and competitions with a professionalism that is beyond her years. She immediately resonated with Coach Gilhuly, and I am confident she is going to make an immediate impact. She comes to our program as one of the top prep javelin throwers in the country and will seize the opportunity to learn from and train with one of the best javelin throwers in the nation, fellow New Jersey native
Casey Bogues."
