KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team continued competition at the ITA Regionals on Friday on the campus of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Sophomore
Erik Eliasson and freshman
Eric Perkowski each competed in the Round of 64 in the Main Draw. Eliasson fell to Pablo Alemany of Memphis 7-6, 6-2, and Perkowski was defeated by Ilya Tiraspolsky of Indiana 6-1, 7-6.

In the Back Draw, junior
Georgi Mavrodiev advanced to the Round of 32 with a 6-1, 6-7, 11-9 victory over Ball State's Abe Wojtalik, and will play Oliver Andersson of Austin Peay.

Senior
Will Harper, junior
Oliver Dunne, and sophomore
Ronit Hiryur all fell in their matches in the Singles Back Draw.

Eliasson and Perkowski also advanced in the Doubles Back Draw by default, advancing to the Round of 16 where the pair will face David Mizrahi and Kyle Tang of Louisville.

The Flyers will continue play in Knoxville Saturday at 9 a.m.
