Connor Bruce was named Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season, while freshman
Eric Perkowski has been the only recipient of the conference's Rookie of the Week honor through the first three weeks of the season.

The Flyers won their fifth match of the season on Friday night against Youngstown State, extending their home winning streak to 17 straight matches, and UD has taken home five of the six total weekly men's tennis awards so far in 2022.

Bruce clinched the doubles point with partner senior
Will Harper against the Penguins, surviving three match points in No. 3 doubles to defeat Nathan Favier and Clement Mainguy 7-6. The junior would continue on into singles play, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in the top singles flight over Laurentiu Mandocescu.

Perkowski improved to 5-1 in dual matches this season, winning his fifth straight match against Youngstown State's Will Everett. The freshman won in No. 6 singles 6-4, 7-6. Perkowski's three Rookie of the Week honors is the most since Bruce won five during his freshman campaign.

The Flyers will look to extend the home winning streak to 18 on Saturday afternoon against Ball State at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg.
