DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team will be sending 18 Flyers from the 2022 roster to play in nine different summer baseball leagues over the course of the next few months. Three of the nine leagues will feature multiple Flyers.

The New England Collegiate Baseball League will see the highest number of Dayton student-athletes, with six different Flyers from last year's team competing. Those six will play on six different teams. Those Flyers are
Henry Strmecki on the Danbury Westerners,
Keagan Calero on the Vermont Mountaineers,
Nate Espelin on the North Shore Navigators,
Parker Bard on the Ocean State Waves,
Nolan Watson on the Keene Swamp Bats, and
Matt Maloney on the Martha's Vineyard Sharks.

The Northwoods League features four Flyers, with three of them playing for the Kokomo Jackrabbits.
Alex Neff,
Austin Brush, and
Nick Rispoli all started the summer in Kokomo.
Mason Dobie is the only student-athlete on a different team, playing the summer for the Waterloo Bucks.

The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League features a pair of Flyers, with
Michael Crossan on the Cincy Steam and
Connor Hinerman on the Licking County Settlers.

The final five Flyers playing summer baseball are spread out between five different leagues with
Andrew Casey,
Anthony Steinhardt, Jimmy Zakhar,
Lucas Adam, and
Jacob Veczko each playing in a different league to round out the roster.
