NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference recognized senior Grace Homan as the Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week after her outstanding performance in the shot put at the Tennessee Invite on Saturday. She won this award alongside Davidson's Meghan Burkholder who leads the A-10 in pole vault.

At Tennessee, Homan earned third place while setting a PR for outdoor shot put with her 14.27m put. This mark is now the best shot put in the A-10 and sits at 12th in the Great Lakes Region.

This is Homan's second A-10 weekly award of the outdoor season after earning Field Performer of the Week two weeks ago. Her recognition for this award came from her sensational performance at the Big Blue Classic in Eastern Illinois where she set the best discus throw in the A-10 with her PR throw of 46.15m.

Track and field will travel to Indiana State University to compete in the Gibson Invitational this Thursday, April 13 through Saturday, April 15.
