Indianapolis, Ind. – University of Dayton track and field competed Friday and Saturday, at the IUPUI Invitational. The Flyers were in action against 25 other teams in the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Highlights
- Bryn Hothem in her 5000m debut won first place. The Freshman beat out 11 other runners for the top spot.
- Two weight throwers landed in the top five. Jillian Yates had a PR and finished fourth. Anna Yater, had another strong throw and finished fifth.
- Cara Mooney in her collegiate debut finished eighth in the one mile run.
- In the shot put, Grace Homan finished fourth and both Anna Yater and Jillian Yates recorded a personal best.
