LAST TIME OUT
Two minutes doomed the Flyers in their Friday night showdown with La Salle last week, as the Explorers found the back of the net in the 20th and 22nd minute to lead to a 2-0 victory at Baujan Field.
Â
Dayton had 10 shots in the game, including seven in the second half. The Flyers finished with four shots on goal, one each from
Millie Cluxton,
Ky Hau-Golden,
Eva Schreiber and
Laney Smith.
Â
Despite allowing the two goals, keeper
Kasey Cannistraro still turned in a solid performance overall, turning aside five La Salle shots to tie her best saves mark as a Flyer.
Â
AGAINST THE DUKES
Dayton and Duquesne have played one another 26 times in program history dating back to the 1995 campaign. The Flyers boast an all-time lead in the series 20-3-3, including an 8-1-2 record on the road.
Â
UD once won 12 consecutive matches in the series between 2000 and 2015, and is now on a three-match winning streak over the Dukes.
