DAYTON BASEBALL WRAPS UP FALL WITH RED BARON CLASSIC

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball program will finish up the fall season with its annual intersquad scrimmage series Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Flyers will split into two teams and will face each other in a best-of-three game series. The first game is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. at Woerner Field at Time Warner Cable Stadium. Saturday's contest has been moved to Athletes In Action at 6 p.m. The finale on Sunday will start at 11 a.m.

If inclement weather is an issue, the games may be moved to the Athletes In Action facilities on Friday evening.

Team captains held their draft to select teams that will compete for either the Red squad or the White squad. Pride is on the line as the Flyers wrap-up their fall offseason work outs.

Games are open to the public and free admission. Fans are invited to come out and see what the future of Dayton Flyer baseball has in store for the 2014 season.
