WASHINGTON, D.C. – Colin Lynch of the University of Dayton baseball team was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the league office announced.
Lynch earns Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, after picking up the honor on March 10. He is the first player this season to receive an A-10 weekly award more than once.
In Dayton's week against Miami (Ohio) and Davidson, the freshman went 8-for-18 at the plate, good for a .444/.545/.667 slash line. Lynch also had one double and one home run on the week.
The Doylestown, Pa. native recorded six RBIs, scoring seven runs.
