MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The ABCA Rawlings Mideast All-Region teams were announced and University of Dayton senior baseball player Robby Sunderman was named to the Second Team.

Sunderman recently finished his career with the Flyer Baseball program and continues to pick up accolades. He was named Second Team All-Mideast Region after picking up All-Conference awards from both the Atlantic 10 and College Sports Madness. The Cincinnati native ranked near the top of the conference in numerous categories including hits, runs, steals, batting average, total bases, and doubles.

Not only did Sunderman receive All-Region attention, he is currently up for a national award, the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby Fan's Choice Award. Details on how to vote can be found at DaytonFlyers.com.

The Dayton Baseball team went 24-30 this season and advanced to the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament in St. Louis, Mo.
