NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its baseball season awards and recognized University of Dayton student-athletes.
Senior first baseman
Nick Weybright was named Second Team All-Conference while freshman pitcher Austin Cline was named to the All-Rookie Team and junior outfielder
Mitch Coughlin was named to the All-Academic Team.
Weybright led the Flyers with a .292 average to go with 21 RBI and 40 hits in 45 appearances. Cline led Dayton in wins with four victories in 10 starts, recording a 4.00 ERA and 55 strikeouts. Coughlin started 41 games while posting a 3.79 GPA in the classroom, earning Dean's List honors.
The Flyers finished the season with a 19-36 record overall and an 8-16 A-10 mark.
