Chantae McMillan have both qualified for the 2021 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in the javelin.
The javelin qualifying round is Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. PT (4 p.m. ET). The finals are Saturday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. ET).
Bogues, a 2021 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Second Team All-American, qualified for the trials with her school-record mark of 53.39m which she had on her first throw at the NCAA Championships.
McMillan's mark of 53.52m qualified her for the trials. In the 2015-2016 school year, McMillan trained and coached at University of Dayton in preparation for U.S. Olympic trials on July 10, 2016. McMillan placed fifth scoring a personal best 6326 points at the U.S. Olympic trials on July 10, 2016.
The Trials will take place at the newly renovated Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. The event will run from Friday, June 18 until Sunday, June 27 with two rest days: June 22 and 23.
