CAROL A. LAMMERS LAFOUNTAIN - Women's Basketball - 1977-1981
 

Carol A. Lammers LaFountain came to the University of Dayton from Miller City High School in Miller City, OH. She was a four year starter for the Flyers.  During the 1979-80 season she helped the Flyers win the AIAW D-II National Championship.  While playing she never held anything back.  She holds the second most points scored with 2,151 and the second most in rebounds with 1,096. Her Senior year she was named MVP. She was also the Kodak Small College All-American and CoSIDA Academic All-American. In 1989, she held 6 UD records.

Carol married her husband Kevin and had three children. She became a math teacher and taught at Archbishop Alter. From there she moved and taught at Newport News School District.
