University of Dayton Athletics

Eddie Hamant was a two sport start in golf and basketball for the University of Dayton. He was the captain of the first ever UD golf team in 1931, and was the best golfer in the team for three seasons.

    The highlight of his golfing career here at UD was winning the Ohio Intercollegiate Individual Championship in 1933. He finished his career advancing to match play in the 1933 National College Championship.
